For Yule 2010 Jack made Rune ornaments for our tree on the altar and also made takeway Ansuz runes for the ritual participants. He bought precut wooden tablets and discs and burned the runes into them with a wood burner. He then sealed them with clear varnish and put hooks on the ornaments.

Each runes on the tree coresponded with a particular part of the ritual, and the Ansuz runes were so we could take the blessings of Odin home with us at the end of the rite.
